How to Beat Orrem, the Reclaimed

Orrem begins as the Discarded Golem, using a heavy axe, close-range pressure, an aerial slam, and visible fire and explosion effects after some melee sequences.

The Reclaimed form moves on four limbs and adds arm slams, charge pressure, and projectile bursts from its centipede-like appendage.

Fight structure

Stage 1 — Orrem, the Discarded Golem

The opening form applies heavy axe and melee pressure, uses an aerial slam, and can end a combo with visible fire and explosion effects.

Stage 2 — Orrem, the Reclaimed

The transformed quadrupedal form uses arm slams, charge or dash pressure, and projectile bursts from its centipede-like appendage.

Readable cues

Attacks & Counters

Heavy axe chain and explosion

Cue
A heavy melee sequence can be followed by a visible explosion around the end of the chain.
Safe response
Wait for the follow-up effect before moving back in rather than attacking as soon as the axe stops.

Aerial slam

Cue
The first form rises before driving down into the arena.
Safe response
Move clear of the landing area and reset your position after the impact.

Transformed arm slam and charge

Cue
The quadrupedal form plants its limbs for a slam or lowers into forward pressure.
Safe response
Reposition around the form and leave the direct line of the charge.

Centipede-like projectile burst

Cue
The transformed appendage releases a burst of projectiles across the arena.
Safe response
Move laterally through the burst and avoid retreating in a straight line.
Decision framework

Core Strategy

  • Do not overextend after the first-stage melee chain; account for the explosion that can follow it.
  • Move clear of the aerial slam before committing to another attack.
  • Reposition around the transformed form instead of staying directly in front of its slams and charges.
  • Use lateral movement against the projectile burst from the transformed appendage.
